As Team Overcooked, my friends and I entered the Adelaide University Competitive Programming League Facing off against tough, time-bound algorithmic problems, we only managed to solve one question in the first round, with our confidence hilariously shaken by a n ‘unethically difficult’ third problem. Despite the rocky start, the experience was a fun and eye-opening way to improve our teamwork, problem-solving skills, and resilience under pressure.

UniHack 2025

HotSpot is a full-stack web application developed during UNIHACK 2025 that visualises local restaurant ratings using an interactive heat map. By integrating the Google Places API, our platform retrieves and processes live location and rating data to highlight dining hotspots around the city. The goal was to provide users with an intuitive and engaging way to discover popular food destinations based on real-time community feedback.
