I recently applied to join the Adelaide Rover Team after seeing their advertisement seeking technical members. I recognised one of the members in the committee as a person who I have previously interacted at the gym, I reached out to them to learn more about the team and opportunities. Leveraging this connection, I was able to strengthen my application by directly expressing my interest in the team to the friend.
