In March, I participated in UNIHACK 2025, a university-wide hackathon that brought together students to rapidly build creative tech solutions. My team and I developed HotSpot, a full-stack web application that visualises local restaurant ratings as an interactive heat map. The project integrated API communication with the Google Places API to fetch real-time location and rating data, which we processed and displayed using dynamic geospatial visualization tools. We collaborated across frontend and backend roles to ensure smooth user experience and data flow under time constraints. You can view the project’s codebase in the GitHub link provided bellow.
